We thought these pandas were like the mechanical horse rides out side of supermarkets, the ones that you can ride for a quarter. We were very startled went it moved forward, and kept going!

We also had a very late night the day before, had barely any sleep, and were getting by on a lot of caffine.... that would probably explain why this seemed so funny at the time...
