As Owen and Maisie (Isabella Sermon) are chased by the Indoraptor, Blue comes to help and fights the Indoraptor. Owen and Maisie escape and climb on the roof, but the Indoraptor still tries to get them, as Claire tries to aim the dinosaur and sedate him. The Indoraptor narrowly falls through the roof but climbs again, but Blue jumps on it and they both fall through the roof. But the Indoraptor ends skewered on spikes, killing it.

Three years after the events of Jurassic World, the dinosaurs, once again the masters of Isla Nublar, suddenly find themselves threatened with extinction when the island's dormant volcano is about to erupt. Former park manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard from The Village and As You Like It), who now presides over a dinosaur protection organization, fights to save the last dinosaurs on the planet. Everyone turns their backs on her until Benjamin Lockwood (James Cromwell from Babe and American Horror Story: Asylum), a former colleague and friend of John Hammond, contacts her to support her project. He suggests that she rescue the animals trapped on Nublar and bring them to a "sanctuary" specially created to protect them, far from humans. Claire gets in touch with Owen Grady (Chris Pratt from Guardians of the Galaxy and Passengers) and they go to the island accompanied by Lockwood's team of mercenaries to accomplish their mission as quickly as possible, but things don't go as planned. Some men will be unscrupulous, determined to take over the dinosaurs in order to make the most of them. Blinded by power and money, they will then proceed to numerous manipulations, to the detriment of the dinosaurs but also to the detriment of the team of scientists who have moved. It will also be the occasion for Claire and Owen to renew a sentimental relationship.
