** REVIEWING A STARDUST VINTAGE OMEGA GENEVE | LUG2LUG **
Anna reviewed the Omega Geneve just listed in the Watch Shop!
"It may not be a Speed- or Seamaster, but this vintage Omega Geneve is simple, useful, and versatile - a huge value, especially for people with smaller watch collections looking to get a lot of use out of each piece. This reference 166.0117 was produced in the early 1970's. Its 34mm stainless steel case houses a 1022 movement, which features quick date correction, instantaneous date change, and hacking seconds, which gives maximum accuracy when synchronizing.
this watch sits on 18mm lugs and on a bridle leather strap - like the one we have it on - it would comfortably fit a dress shirt and khakis just as easily as your jeans and a bomber jacket.
Diving deeper into this example, it features its original handset, crown, and an intricately aged dial. Whether you're on the patina or damage side, this dial is undeniably unique and interesting. Its original balance of bold blue with counteracting white text and indices is accentuated by speckled white patina. It turns the matte blue into a backdrop for a bastion of star-inspired age. It's a happy accident that this age looks like it could have been an intentional design."
It's available now - ENJOY!!!
