Resident Evil: Extinction: Fighting angry contaminated dogs
What’s happening in this Resident Evil: Extinction movie clip?
Alice (Milla Jovovich) is being held by marauders. While watching her from a higher ground, her captors decide to release their pack of contaminated dogs on her for entertainment purposes. However, Alice manages to skillfully dodge the beasts and traps three of them in a tangle of electric cables, which she ties around a pillar. By trying to reach her, the three tangled hounds strongly pull on the cable. Their aggressive traction weakens the pillar on which Alice previously tied with the cables and, ultimately, destroys it. By climbing the fallen pieces of concrete, Alice joins the higher ground and her captors. She is closely followed by the dogs who are now free from the cables. Once again, she avoids their attack and they end up devouring their owners. Alice uses this distraction to get her weapons back and escape, riding her bike in an arid landscape. Somewhere else, we see a zombie eating a corpse on the road before getting suddenly smashed by a mysterious, heavily armored vehicle.

The experimental virus developed by the all-powerful Umbrella Corporation has destroyed humanity, turning the world's population into zombies hungry for human flesh. Fleeing the cities, Carlos (Oded Fehr from The Mummy), L.J. (Mike Epps from Next Friday), Claire (Ali Larter from Obsession), K-Mart (Spencer Locke from Cougar Town), Nurse Betty (Ashanti) and a few survivors set out in an armed convoy, hoping to find other uninfected humans and make it to Alaska, their last hope for a safe land. Accompanying them in the shadows is Alice (Mila Jovovich from Monster Hunter and Ultraviolet), a young woman on whom Umbrella once conducted terrible biogenic experiments that gave her superhuman abilities by altering her DNA. From the Umbrella laboratory, Dr. Isaacs (Iain Glen from Game of Thrones) is watching them. He'll do anything to find the one person who represents the ultimate achievement of the company's research, the only person who can make the development of a cure possible: Alice. If they are to have any chance, the survivors must escape both the undead infesting the land and the Umbrella Corporation.
For Alice and her fellow survivors, the fight is just beginning...
