If I had to choose one type of gear which really boosted my career in filmmaking, it would be gimbals. They can replace so many other tools like dollies, sliders, cranes or even a russian arm while costing only a fraction of the price. So basically you can achieve shots which look like big budget productions without the need of a big crew or super expensive gear. In this video I talk about the question if you actually need a gimbal and I show you my 3 tips to become better at operating them and achieving cinematic footage!
