I went back to where I was walking on Dizengoff on Thursday night at around 9 pm. As panicked people ran from the shooter, my mind was sharp and I remained calm. At 910 pm I spoke to a reporter from the Times of Israel on the phone about what I had just witnessed and later my editor self was alert enough to ask him to fix the spelling of my last name in the story that was published. Only when I got home safely two hours later and felt my heartbeat did I realize that the fight-or-flight response had kicked in. Hundreds of people nearby had the same experience, without a good place to hide; three people from Ilka bar were murdered and others are in the hospital still. Thanks to everyone who asked how Iām doing. I hope this answers your questions. š®š±š®š±š®š±š®š±š®š±
